The Ixora Quilt (pronounced ik-ser-uh) was inspired by Thai Ixora Flower. The name in Thai means needle (symbolic meaning of intelligence). Traditionally, Ixora flowers were often used in the Wai Khru ceremony, during which students pay respect and thank their teachers for the knowledge they were given. Ancient Thai people believed that any household that has an Ixora plant will bring good luck to their homes.

Ixora Quilt was created and written out of Love and Appreciation not just for teachers, but also family, friends, quilting community and fellow quilters that I’ve learnt so much from. Ixora Quilt is available in 4 sizes: Mini, Baby, Throw, and Queen Bed.
