AGREEMENT TO OUR LEGAL TERMS

We are Patternly Collective LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), a company registered in the United States, located in Utah.

We operate the website https://patternlyco.com (the "Site"), as well as any other related products and services that refer or link to these legal terms (the "Legal Terms") (collectively, the "Services").

These Legal Terms constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you"), and Patternly Collective LLC, concerning your access to and use of the Services. By accessing the Services, you agree that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Legal Terms. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ALL OF THESE LEGAL TERMS, THEN YOU ARE EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED FROM USING THE SERVICES AND YOU MUST DISCONTINUE USE IMMEDIATELY.

Supplemental terms and conditions or documents that may be posted on the Services from time to time are hereby expressly incorporated herein by reference. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to make changes or modifications to these Legal Terms at any time and for any reason. We will alert you about any changes by updating the "Last updated" date of these Legal Terms. It is your responsibility to periodically review these Legal Terms to stay informed of updates.

1. OUR SERVICES

Patternly Collective LLC provides digital sewing and quilt patterns for personal use. We license these patterns from independent designers who have signed agreements with us granting the right to sell their patterns through our Site. Some patterns may be offered for free as part of newsletter sign-ups or loyalty program rewards.

2. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

All content on the Site, including but not limited to digital patterns, graphics, text, logos, and product descriptions, is either owned by or licensed to Patternly Collective LLC and is protected by copyright laws. Customers may not share, distribute, alter, or reproduce any of the patterns or site content without written permission. Ownership of each pattern remains with the individual designer who licensed the pattern to us.

3. USER ACCOUNTS

To access your purchased patterns, you must create an account. Your account will store your order history and pattern library for download. Account sharing, including sharing login credentials or downloading patterns for others, is strictly prohibited. Accounts found to be in violation of this policy may be banned. In severe or repeated cases, legal action may be taken in coordination with the designer.

4. PURCHASES AND PAYMENTS

We accept payment via Shopify Payments and PayPal. Accepted payment methods include Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay. Sales tax may be applied at checkout based on your location, as required by law.

Because all products are digital, there are no shipping fees. Products are delivered via download link to your email address provided at checkout and in your account immediately upon purchase.

5. LICENSE & USAGE RESTRICTIONS

All patterns purchased through Patternly Collective LLC are for personal use only. Commercial use of the patterns—including teaching, reselling, mass production, or altering to distribute—is not allowed. Some designers allow the sale of finished quilts made from their patterns; details about this will be included in the individual product listing or in the pattern itself.

6. REFUND POLICY

Due to the nature of digital products and instant delivery, all sales are final. We do not allow cancellations, refunds, or exchanges.

7. ERRORS & PATTERN ACCURACY

We work closely with our licensed designers to ensure pattern accuracy, but we cannot guarantee that every pattern will be error-free. If you encounter an error, please contact us so we can work with the designer to provide an updated version if one becomes available.

We are not liable for time, materials, or other costs incurred as a result of errors in any pattern.

8. PRIVACY POLICY

We collect your name, email, billing address, and order history to process your purchases and deliver products. Our payments are handled by Shopify and PayPal in accordance with industry-standard security practices. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.

9. GOVERNING LAW

These Legal Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, United States. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Utah.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Patternly Collective LLC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our Services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
