Julia Wachs loves to design using bold shapes, many times achieved with foundation paper piecing and applique. She got her start in quilting in 2014 and has been designing her own patterns since 2020. Her quilt patterns are exciting, sometimes moody, and completely untraditional. They are meant for quilters who take their hobby seriously as an art form and are ready for a challenge. Julia lives in Madrid, Spain with her husband, Brian, and their two pets.
