Kimberly Helm is the designer behind The Gluten Free Quilter, a brand built on the belief that quilting is a gentle path through creativity. From her studio at the base of the Colorado Rockies, Kimberly creates patterns that honor traditional quilting roots while offering a fresh, accessible perspective for the confident beginner using modern fabrics and tools.

Her work is guided by the mantras “Quilting Is Therapy” & "Love Sewn Slowly," prioritizing the therapeutic process of stitching over the pressure of perfection. Whether she is at home in Perry Park or at her cabin in Creede, Kimberly’s mission is to provide makers with patterns that offer both a sense of progress and a place of rest.

When she isn't quilting or crunching numbers as a virtual bookkeeper, she is likely spending time with her husband, Brandon, and their "furry supervisor”, Oreo. When Kimberly isn’t designing her next pattern, you’ll find her running quarterly mini quilt swaps or a fun fabric or block exchange!
